Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Convert Bank Statements (the "Service") at convertbankstatements.app. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

Convert Bank Statements converts PDF and scanned bank statements into Excel, CSV, QBO, and OFX files using automated and AI-assisted extraction. Some pages are free to convert; additional pages require a purchase.

Your files and your rights

You keep all rights to the statements and data you upload. You grant us only the limited, temporary license needed to process your file and deliver your converted output, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your data and do not use it to train AI models.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and convert the statements you submit.

Accuracy — please review before you rely on the output

The Service uses automated and AI-based extraction. While we reconcile balances and work hard on accuracy, the output may contain errors and is provided for your review. You are responsible for verifying the converted data before importing it into accounting software, filing taxes, or otherwise relying on it. The Service is a tool and does not constitute accounting, tax, financial, or legal advice.

Accounts

You may convert a limited number of pages without an account. If you create an account, you must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

Payments

Paid pages are sold as one-time page packs or as a subscription, as shown on our pricing page. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider acting as the merchant of record. Purchased page credits are for use with the Service. Except where required by law, purchases are generally non-refundable; if you have a problem with a purchase, contact us and we will try to help.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in violation of any law or regulation, or to process data you have no right to
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or disrupt or overload the Service
• Upload malware or attempt to reverse-engineer or resell the Service without permission
• Use automated means to abuse free-usage limits

Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will extract every statement perfectly.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from errors in extracted data or your reliance on the output. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violation of these Terms or misuse. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of the Service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here limits any consumer rights you have under the mandatory law of your country of residence.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
